More about David's farm...

It wasn’t until the 1700s, that the Bentick family reclaimed the land from the sea.

Today, David has to maintain approximately 14.5Kms (9miles) of drainage ditches to keep the land dry enough to farm.

The vining peas grown on the farm are harvested and frozen within 90 minutes ready for packing. This ensures that they are as fresh as possible.

Wildlife on the farm: hares, deer, skylarks

Farming foes: black-grass, septoria
